The competition is exclusively for those in Junior Secondary School (JSS) and Senior Secondary School (SSS).
It would take place at 3 stages/levels: State, Regional and National Competition.
Registration will be online via this website. After registration, students would login and add barcodes on Coatal malaria medicine pack. A barcode, once entered, cannot be re-used. Students can increase their chances of been selected by entering more Coatal tablet packs barcodes.
Selection would be communicated via email. After selection, there would be the Testing stage. The Test will be in two stages.
The first, second and third positions will be awarded with ₦500,000, ₦250,000, and ₦150,000 respectively.
Other top 10 performers will receive prizes such as certificates, malaria-related educational materials and products from Geneith Pharmaceuticals.
The first, second, and third winners would proceed to the Regional Level Competition for a chance to win up to one million Naira.
The Regional Competition would take place in each of the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria. The venue, date and time would be communicated later.
The regional level will bring together the best three participants from each of the state competition giving a total of 18 participants at this level.
The test format remains the fire rapid questions format. The test will be automatically graded based on correct answers by the colleges of assessors who are caefully selected from the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria.
The first, second and third positions will receive one million Naira, five hundred thousand Naira and two hundred and fifty thousand Naira respectively.
Other top ten performers will also be awarded with branded merchandise, educational materials and products from Geneith Pharmaceuticals.
The top three winners from each zone will qualify to the national quiz competition.
At this stage, participants will compete live in an interactive quiz competition.
Only top three participants from each of the regional stage advance to the national quiz competition which consist of rapid-fire questions and participants will be timed to answer.
Audience interaction either online or in-person will also be allowed.
Finalists will compete in the last round for the grand prize: the first, second and third positions will be awarded 10 million Naira, 5 million Naira and 2 million Naira respectively
